It’s the same relaxed DC207 social night you’re used to, good drinks, good people, no presentations... but this time we’re scattering several short mystery packet captures around the space. Each one is a tiny slice of traffic pulled from real-world scenarios: quick to glance at, fun to reason through, and totally optional if you’re just there to hang out.
You can wander table to table, pick up a sheet, debate with friends about what device or service the traffic came from, or ignore the packets entirely and just enjoy the night. When you think you’ve solved one, give your answer.
First correct guess for each packet gets a small prize and bragging rights until the next meetup. It’s social, lightweight, and meant to spark conversations, not a competition, not a CTF. Just a fun twist on our usual hangout. Come by, grab a drink, and see how many packets you can figure out.
